Our Team

The team includes specialty nurses, specialist breast radiologists (doctors who specialise in reading and understand your mammogram or ultrasound and who can perform biopsies) radiographers (people with technical expertise to perform the mammograms and ultrasounds in order to gain the best possible images) and breast surgeons (who are specialists in managing breast problems).  Here at Mercy Breast we believe all patients deserve a nurturing hand, listening ear and empathetic approach – no matter how small or serious their issue. Our multidisciplinary clinic allows our team of professionals to form close bonds with everyone who visits us.

We also have close links with pathologists (specialist doctors who interpret biopsy and ‘needle test’ results with the aid of microscopes and special tests), the wider Mercy radiology resources (for additional tests such as MRI or CT-PET scans), Plastic & Reconstructive surgeons and oncologists (specialists who are experts in non-surgical cancer treatments).  The overall aim is to provide you with high standard, efficient and personalised care for your breast health, from experts in the field.
