Remy is a graduate of Auckland School of Medicine and completed his radiology training in Auckland. He subsequently underwent 2 year fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, gaining skills in Oncology and PET/CT reporting.
Remy joined Allevia Radiology (formerly Mercy Radiology) upon his return to NZ in 2011 and has been the Medical Director for Allevia Radiology since 2016. In addition to introducing PSMA PET/CTs to NZ in 2015, Remy also started the Theranostics service at Allevia Radiology in 2018. He has been awarded research grants from Prostate Cancer Foundation NZ and Breast Cancer Foundation NZ for his research interests. Remy continues to spend part of his week at Auckland City Hospital where he is one of the lead radiologists for the Auckland Region Genitourinary Multidisciplinary meeting and the lead radiologist for the Haematology / Lymphoma Radiology Meeting.

After graduating from University of Aberdeen medical school, Ai Wain completed her specialty radiology training in Edinburgh. She worked as a Consultant Radiologist at NHS Scotland hospitals for a period between 2012 - 2020. She joined Mercy Radiology in 2021. Her specialty interests are in Head and Neck Radiology and PET CT/oncology imaging.
She was awarded the European Board in Head and Neck Radiology Diploma (EBiHNR) in 2019 and completed a PET-CT fellowship with Mercy Radiology in 2023. She was a Scottish panel member for Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) FRCR Part A Examination in Clinical Radiology (2015 -2019) and was an educational supervisor for radiology registrar training in Aberdeen and Dundee. She was a Panel member for Head and Neck Specialist Interest Group (SIG) for iRefer evidence-based guidelines review process, and currently serves as one of the reviewers for Clinical Radiology journal affiliated with the Royal College of Radiologists.

Dr Andrew Henderson is a graduate of Otago University Medical School, a fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists and of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He is a nuclear medicine physician and radiologist, with an interest in PET and oncology imaging and nuclear medicine therapy.
He worked in Perth from 1994 until 2021 with appointments at the Sir Charles Gairdner Nuclear Medicine service and Perth Children’s Hospital and private practice at Perth Radiologic Clinic. He has a keen interest in the rapidly expanding field of PET and was involved in the introduction of the first private PET-CT service in Western Australia. He has been involved in the introduction of new imaging agents in Western Australia, in particular for cancer diagnosis and monitoring of therapy.

Specialising in Musculoskeletal Radiology
Claudia is an Associate Professor of Radiology. She trained in Radiology at the Medical University of Vienna in Austria from 2000-2006 and then specialised in Musculoskeletal Imaging. Claudia was the research group lead for Functional and Morphologic Musculoskeletal Radiology at the University Hospital of Vienna and has published more than 60 articles as first or lead author. Claudia is a Consultant Radiologist at North Shore and Waitakere Hospitals. She has a Masters of Business Administration for healthcare services and is certified in quality management. She is highly committed to teaching and training - she is on the editorial board of Radiology Journals, is an Advisory Board member for several web-based educational societies and is the founder and director of musculoskeletal courses in Vienna and Auckland. Within the MSK domain, her passion is arthritis and sports imaging. Claudia is excited to contribute her over 15 years of musculoskeletal expertise to Mercy Radiology.

Specialising in Musculoskeletal radiology
Clinton Pinto is a musculoskeletal radiologist. He studied medicine and trained in radiology in Auckland. His two-year fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging with a special focus on the imaging of bone and soft tissue tumours was at Leiden University Medical Centre in the Netherlands, home of the Dutch Bone and Soft Tissue Tumour Commission.
Currently, he is part of the musculoskeletal imaging team at Mercy Radiology having joined the team in 2021.
His professional interests are in musculoskeletal and sports imaging and MRI, with particular interest in bone and soft tissue tumours. He maintains an active role in teaching, mentoring, environmental sustainability and regenerative practice, especially in respect to the provision of healthcare. He is also a member of the Regenerative Radiology group and actively engaged in reducing the organisation's carbon footprint. Clinton is a member of the Australasian Musculoskeletal Interest Group (AMSIG) and is an active fellow of the Royal Australian and NZ College of Radiologists.

Colette trained in radiology at the Middlesex Hospital in London (1985–1990). Following a period from 1990–2001 as a consultant radiologist at Guys and Lewisham NHS Trust Hospitals, she moved to New Zealand where she took up the position of consultant radiologist at Auckland City Hospital in 2002. Colette is the Lead Clinician for the Ultrasound Department at Auckland City Hospital. She joined Mercy Radiology in 2004 and is an integral member of our Interventional team. Colette also consults at Mercy Angiography.

Cynthia is a graduate of the University of Auckland Medical School, and completed Radiology training in the Auckland Region in 2019. She completed a Chest Radiology subspecialty fellowship in 2020 at Te Toka Tumai/Auckland Hospital, and a PET-CT fellowship in 2023 at Mercy Radiology. She started working at Mercy Radiology in 2023 and currently splits her time between working at Mercy Radiology and Waitemata District/North Shore Hospital. Her special interests are chest imaging, in particular lung cancer, and PET CT/oncology imaging. She is part of the weekly respiratory multi-disciplinary team at Waitemata and is involved in regular teaching of registrars and fellows.

David has worked in the Hawkes Bay, London, Auckland, Edmonton and Adelaide. He completed a Fellowship in Breast Imaging at the University of Alberta before returning to Auckland and becoming one of the founding radiologists at Mercy Radiology in 1984. His special interest is in breast imaging and he is one of New Zealand’s leading breast imaging radiologists. He is known for his kind, gentle nature and has an extensive loyal following amongst his patients and fellow physicians. David has recently stepped down as the Medical Director of Mercy Radiology, having given strong medical leadership and guidance to the practice over the last few years.

Devesh trained in radiology within the Auckland training scheme from 1999 to 2004, including a year of Body Imaging consisting of CT and MRI in his fifth year. After working as a consultant radiologist at Middlemore Hospital, he moved to New York in 2005 where he undertook Fellowships in Oncologic Imaging at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre. His fellowships consisted of Body Imaging (CT, MRI and Ultrasound), Mammography and Breast MRI, and Nuclear Medicine, including PET-CT. On returning to New Zealand, he was appointed Consultant Radiologist at Middlemore Hospital, a position he has held since mid-2007. Devesh joined Mercy Radiology in August 2010. Devesh is the lead Radiologist for weekly Colorectal and Haematology Multidisciplinary meets at Counties Manukau Health and lead Radiologist for the weekly Oncology Multidisciplinary Meeting at Mercy Radiology.

Ellen is a graduate of Otago Medical School. After working as a junior doctor in Gisborne and Wellington, Ellen trained in Radiology in Auckland from 2012-2016. Subsequently, Ellen completed a musculoskeletal fellowship in Perth, further training in musculoskeletal MRI, EOS and image guided musculoskeletal intervention. She worked for a further 3 years in Perth before returning home to Auckland in 2022.
Ellen also holds a consultant radiologist post in Waitemata DHB.

Specialising in Head and Neck Radiology
Dr Pandya is one of the most experienced head and neck radiologists in New Zealand. He obtained specialist fellowship training in radiology in the UK. Following completion of radiology training in 2005, he worked as a consultant radiologist in one of the largest tertiary referral centres for head and neck cancer in the UK, based in Birmingham. In 2008, Dr Pandya decided to move to New Zealand with his family and worked at Waikato Hospital, before settling on the North Shore. Dr. Pandya has a strong interest in continual learning and currently serves as one of the sub-specialty Head and Neck reviewers for the British Journal of Radiology. He was also appointed as one of the specialist radiology advisors for NZ National Thyroid Cancer Tumour Standards Working Group in 2013. Working part time at North Shore Hospital, his professional interests include all aspects of head and neck imaging (MRI, CT, Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound), PET-CT/Nuclear Medicine and Cancer Imaging.

She holds a consultant radiology post at Middlemore. She joined Mercy Radiology as a dual-qualified radiologist with a focus on general & oncology work.

Hemanth is a graduate of Otago Medical School. He completed his radiology training at multiple hospitals within the Auckland district, including a six-month interventional fellowship.
He subsequently completed a two-year musculoskeletal fellowship in Perth, where he then served as a consultant for several years and collaborated extensively with sports teams, sports medicine specialists, and orthopaedic surgeons.
In 2022, Hemanth joined Mercy Radiology as a full-time general radiologist, with a focus on musculoskeletal radiology and interventions. He also has a keen interest in AI and the digital health space.

Jane is a graduate of Auckland School of Medicine and completed her radiology training in Auckland. Following consultant appointments in Middlemore Hospital and with Queensland X-Ray in Australia, she returned to NZ where she has worked for Mercy Radiology and Auckland District Health Board since 2012. She has specialty interest in body imaging, in particular Oncological imaging, and in particular PET-CT. She is the lead radiologist for the Neuroendocrine Multidisciplinary Team and heads the CT Colonography service at Auckland DHB.

Jeremy graduated from the University of Auckland in 1989, and subsequently completed his training in radiology with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 1997. He then undertook a further two years of subspecialty fellowship training in mammography in the UK from 1997 to 1999, working in internationally recognised breast units at King’s College Hospital, London and the Nottingham Breast Institute, Nottingham.
Since returning to New Zealand in 1999, Jeremy has worked as a full-time radiologist specialising in breast imaging. Over this time he has gained experience in various breast imaging modalities including mammography, ultrasound and MRI. His particular interest is in breast biopsy techniques, including ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration, ultrasound guided core biopsy, stereotactic core biopsy and vacuum assisted biopsy.
He has held the position of Clinical Head of Breast Imaging at Auckland City Hospital since 2000, and currently works as a consultant radiologist at Greenlane Clinical Centre as well as Mercy Breast Clinic. He is also a member of the both the Auckland Breast Cancer Study Group and the ANZ Breast Cancer Trials Group.

Jocelyn Homer is a graduate of the University of Auckland and trained in radiology in Auckland. She subsequently undertook a Body Imaging Fellowhip at the University of Toronto, returning to a consultant radiologist position at Counties Manukau Health in 1995.
Jocelyn is a general radiologist with subspecialty interest in obstetric and gynaecologic imaging. She has previously been an examiner for the part II RANZCR Viva examinations in O&G. Jocelyn has worked at Mercy Radiology since 2022.

John completed his medical degree at the University of Otago in 2009. He worked for several years in Neurosurgery and Intensive Care Medicine in New Zealand and the United Kingdom before undertaking specialist Radiology training in Auckland. John completed a Molecular Imaging fellowship with Mercy Radiology and has a specialty interest in PET imaging and neuroradiology. He also holds consultant radiologist posts at Te Whatu Ora Waitemata and Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau.

Joo is the clinical lead for the Head and Neck Service at Allevia.
Joo is a graduate of Auckland School of Medicine, and trained in diagnostic radiology in Auckland followed by further specialist training at Moffitt Cancer Center in the United States. During this time she led the radiomics brain and head and neck cancer imaging research group at Moffitt.
She is a lead examiner for the Neuro/Head and neck section of the RANZCR Radiology Part II examinations, and an assessor of Radiology for the Medical Council of New Zealand.

Kesh is a graduate of the University of Witswatersrand and obtained her radiology degree in South Africa. Kesh has been a consultant since 2011. Kesh is a general radiologist with a subspecialty interest in breast and oncologic imaging. Kesh has been with Mercy Radiology since 2023.

After moving to New Zealand in 2005, Lara worked as a laboratory research technician for The Liggins Institute. She then went on to a medical degree at the Auckland School of Medicine. After a year as a General Surgery and Vascular Surgery registrar, she settled into Radiology specialty training in the Auckland region, achieving her RANZCR Fellowship in 2023. She is currently a Musculoskeletal Fellow with Mercy Radiology. Her main interests include musculoskeletal and general abdominal imaging as well as teaching.

Lee completed her initial degrees and gained her MBChB from the University of Auckland. From 2018-2019, she completed a Head and Neck fellowship at Auckland Hospital, and from 2022-2023, she completed a PET-CT and body MRI fellowship at Mercy Radiology. Lee now holds a position as a consultant radiologist with the Auckland District Health Board as well as being part of the Head and Neck team at Mercy Radiology.

Anne is a New Zealand trained Radiologist who completed her training in Auckland. At the end this, she spent a year at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge (UK), before returning to New Zealand where she commenced Consultant positions at North Shore Hospital and Hibiscus Radiology.
Anne was at Waitemata Health for 20 years, including a period as Clinical Director at North Shore Hospital. She was also a partner at Hibiscus Radiology from 1991, until April 2019, when Hibiscus Radiology was taken over by Mercy Radiology and she joined the Mercy Team.
She has many years of experience in interpreting and performing Ultrasound scans, having a special interest in Obstetric, plus Abdominal imaging. She is a competent Sonographer, still performing many scans herself. Anne is also a Reader for Breast Screen Aotearoa (Waitemata and North) having been with them.

Marcus is a New Zealand trained radiologist with fellowship experience in Australia and the USA. Marcus is the MSK Clinical Director at Mercy, and his areas of expertise are in Musculoskeletal Imaging and Oncology Imaging. He is committed to working with referrers to provide clinically relevant diagnostic information and problem-solve complex cases.

Margie graduated from Otago University in 1986 and subsequently completed her training with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 1994. She underwent a breast fellowship in Perth, Australia following completion of her general training.
Margie has worked as a specialist in the field of breast imaging since 1998, in both the public and private sectors. This has included mammography and breast ultrasound in Auckland and Christchurch, with particular interest in biopsy (fine needle aspiration, core biopsy, and vacuum assisted biopsy) and surgical localisation techniques.
She is a longstanding member of the Auckland Breast Cancer Study Group.

Mark is a New Zealand-trained radiologist, who worked as a consultant at North Shore Hospital from 2002-2021. He completed an MRI Fellowship in Auckland in 2002 before further training in high resolution chest imaging in 2004 at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London, where he returned on sabbatical in 2009 doing cardiothoracic imaging. Mark’s areas of expertise are thoracic and abdominal imaging, with a particular interest in oncology. Mark joined Mercy Radiology in August 2011.

Mark is a vascular and interventional radiologist, who also specialises in vascular and abdominal imaging across all modalities (US, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy & Angiography). He is a current member of IRSA, RSNA and ESGAR. Mark was previously Clinical Director of Mercy Radiology and is currently Senior Radiologist at Mercy. Mark is a past chairman of the New Zealand Branch of the College of Radiologists and was also a RANZCR councillor and a member of the council executive. He is highly regarded in the New Zealand radiology community.
Specialising in Breast, Obstetric, and Gynaecologic imaging
Neda is a graduate of the University of Auckland School of Medicine and completed her radiology training in Auckland. She is a general radiologist, subspecialising in breast, obstetric and gynaecology imaging. She completed a breast imaging fellowship with BreastScreen Aotearoa in 2018. Neda holds consultant radiologist positions at Middlemore Hospital and National Women's Hospital. She joined Mercy Radiology in 2021.

After finishing his specialist radiology training in New Zealand, Peter completed a Fellowship in Diagnostic Ultrasound and Mammography at UCLA Medical Centre (Los Angeles) in 1992. Peter joined Mercy Radiology later in 1992 and then joined Hibiscus Radiology in 2004. He returned to Mercy Radiology in 2013. He has been a consultant Radiologist, performing general radiology at North Shore Hospital since 1992. Peter has an ongoing special interest in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound and breast diagnosis. He reads mammograms for Breast Screen Waitemata & North and is one of the small team of Radiologists who perform additional assessment of women recalled following initial reading of their mammogram.

Dr Aparisi Gómez is a graduate of The University of Valencia (Spain) and trained as a radiologist in Barcelona, Spain, completing fellowships in musculoskeletal and interventional radiology in La Ribera, Alzira, Spain.
She has worked as a consultant at Auckland Hospital since 2011, gaining extra experience as an obstetric and gynecological radiologist, with a special focus on diagnosis targeted to high risk pregnancies and fetal medicine. Pilar is a radiologist with a subspecialty in musculoskeletal and obstetric / gynaecological radiology. She is an honorary lecturer at the University of Auckland, School of Medicine and Medical sciences, actively involved in research, teaching and editorial work. She has worked at Mercy Radiology since 2022.

Puja is a Consultant Radiologist who has a career in radiology spanning over 37 years, having worked in India, Britian and then New Zealand since 1996. Until recently, Puja worked in both Auckland City Hospital (ACH) and Allevia Radiology and now works full time in Allevia Radiology. She was award the fellowship of RANZCR in 1996 after which she undertook a visiting fellowship in Oncology at Royal Marsden Hospital in London in 2003 and later one in PET-CT at Essen University in Germany in 2010. Her main interest is in Oncology imaging with a special focus in body MRI, especially rectal and prostate MRI. Puja has been involved in training of medical students and radiology registrars during her time in ACH and now focuses on training of Radiology Fellows and supporting junior consultants in Allevia Radiology.

Rahul undertook medical and radiology training at the University of Nottingham, UK after which he completed fellowships in Interventional radiology and Abdominal Imaging at McGill University in Montreal between 2012-2014.Following this Rahul moved to Auckland in 2014 to take up position of Consultant Interventional Radiologist for the Waitemata District Health Board. Rahul joined Mercy Radiology in August 2015.

Rohana graduated from the Auckland School of Medicine and completed her training in Radiology in the Auckland region. Following this she completed a fellowship in Diagnostic Neuroradiology and Head and Neck imaging at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in Australia where she gained particular experience in neuro-oncology, epilepsy and head and neck cancer imaging.

Rukshan Fernando graduated from London and subsequently had training in Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, UK. He has completed multiple fellowships in interventional radiology across the UK, Canada, and New Zealand.
As well as working for the North Shore and Auckland City hospitals, Rukshan started his work at Mercy Radiology in 2022. He is also a consultant radiologist for several other practices. His special interests are in vascular and interventional radiology.

Jay trained in radiology at University Hospital Southampton. Between 2005 and 2014 he was a consultant radiologist at West Sussex NHS Trust where he was Lead for Musculoskeletal Radiology. Jay is now a consultant radiologist at Auckland City Hospital where he is Lead for Emergency Radiology. He is a very experienced Musculoskeletal Radiologist and has published and presented internationally in this area. Jay is also fellowship trained in nuclear medicine and performs this both at Auckland City Hospital and Mercy Radiology.

Sook Yee is a graduate of Otago University’s School of Medicine and completed her radiology training in Wellington, New Zealand. In 2021 she completed a one-year fellowship in Breast Imaging with Breast Screen Aotearoa at Hutt Hospital; and in 2022 completed a second fellowship in MSK Radiology in Tasmania, Australia.

Specialising in Interventional Neuroradiology
Stefan attended Auckland Medical School then headed to Sydney in 1990 where he trained in Radiology then Interventional Radiology at Prince Alfred Hospital. He moved to London to train in Interventional Neuroradiology at Queen Square and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in 2000. After further periods of training at Alfried Krupp Krankenhaus, Essen, Germany and Bicêtre Hospital, Paris, France, he returned to London and was appointed lead Interventional Neuroradiologist across both these sites in 2003. In addition to his clinical duties, he continued to be active in research, teaching, interventional device development and device proctoring across Europe over the next decade. He returned in 2013 to take up a position at Auckland City Hospital as a diagnostic and interventional neuroradiologist. He was appointed National Clinical Co-Director for Stroke/Clot Retrieval in 2021. He joined Mercy Radiology and Mercy Angiography in 2021.

She completed her postgraduate training at WITS university in Johannesburg, South Africa and moved to NZ in 2009,initially working in Christchurch and then joined Mercy Radiology in 2011. She also holds a consultant radiologist position at Middlemore Hospital since 2012.

Dr. Supriya Cardoza graduated with a medical degree from St John’s National Academy of Health Sciences, Bangalore, India. She completed her Radiology residency in New York in 2011, followed by a Fellowship in Oncologic Body Imaging at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York City. Trevor Chan is a graduate of the University of Auckland and he trained in radiology in Auckland. He has been a consultant radiologist at Waitemata DHB since 1999. Trevor is a general radiologist with a subspecialty interest in breast imaging and non-vascular intervention. He has been an assessing radiologist at BreastScreen Waitemata Northland since 2006. Trevor has worked at Mercy Radiology since 2013.
