Ian has 25 years experience in the health sector, after initially training as a physiotherapist he has worked in a variety of management and leadership roles with ACC, Counties Manukau DHB, Healthsource and Health New Zealand.
Ian holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Otago and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Canterbury.

Remy is a graduate of Auckland School of Medicine and completed his radiology training in Auckland. Following completion of his registrar training, he undertook a one-year fellowship in Oncologic Body Imaging 2009–2010 and built upon this by completing a second fellowship in Nuclear Medicine/PET-CT at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre in New York City.
Remy joined Mercy Radiology upon his return to New Zealand and was recently appointed as Medical Director for the practice. He was instrumental in the introduction of Gallium-based PET/CT scans for prostate cancer in 2015. Remy also spends part of his working week at ADHB where he pursues his subspecialty interest in oncological and genitourinary imaging.

Specialising in Body Imaging, Head and Neck Radiology
After graduating from the University of Aberdeen Medical School, she completed her speciality radiology training in Edinburgh. She worked as a Consultant Radiologist at NHS Scotland hospitals for a period between 2012 - 2020. She was awarded the European Society of Radiology (ESHNR) subspeciality diploma in Head and Neck imaging in 2019.
She was a Scottish panel member for the Royal College of Radiologists FRCR Part A Examination in Clinical Radiology (2015 -2019), held roles as an educational supervisor for Radiology speciality training and honorary clinical lecturer for the Universities of Aberdeen, Dundee and Edinburgh.
She was appointed as one of the panel advisors for the National Thyroid Cancer Project Board (Imaging Subgroup) in 2019 funded by the Scottish Government in establishing the Scottish Thyroid Cancer Network. She currently serve as one of the reviewers for the Clinical Radiology journal, affiliated with the Royal College of Radiologists.

Dr Andrew Henderson is a graduate of Otago University Medical School, a fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists and of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He is a nuclear medicine physician and radiologist, with an interest in PET and oncology imaging and nuclear medicine therapy.
He worked in Perth from 1994 until 2021 with appointments at the Sir Charles Gairdner Nuclear Medicine service and Perth Children’s Hospital and private practice at Perth Radiologic Clinic. He has a keen interest in the rapidly expanding field of PET and was involved in the introduction of the first private PET-CT service in Western Australia. He has been involved in the introduction of new imaging agents in Western Australia, in particular for cancer diagnosis and monitoring of therapy.

Specialising in Musculoskeletal Radiology
Claudia is an Associate Professor of Radiology. She trained in Radiology at the Medical University of Vienna in Austria from 2000-2006 and then specialised in Musculoskeletal Imaging. Claudia was the research group lead for Functional and Morphologic Musculoskeletal Radiology at the University Hospital of Vienna and has published more than 60 articles as first or lead author. Claudia is a Consultant Radiologist at North Shore and Waitakere Hospitals. She has a Masters of Business Administration for healthcare services and is certified in quality management. She is highly committed to teaching and training - she is on the editorial board of Radiology Journals, is an Advisory Board member for several web-based educational societies and is the founder and director of musculoskeletal courses in Vienna and Auckland. Within the MSK domain, her passion is arthritis and sports imaging. Claudia is excited to contribute her over 15 years of musculoskeletal expertise to Mercy Radiology.

Specialising in Musculoskeletal radiology
Clinton Pinto is a musculoskeletal radiologist. He studied medicine and trained in radiology in Auckland. His two-year fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging with a special focus on the imaging of bone and soft tissue tumours was at Leiden University Medical Centre in the Netherlands, home of the Dutch Bone and Soft Tissue Tumour Commission.
Currently, he is part of the musculoskeletal imaging team at Mercy Radiology having joined the team in 2021.
His professional interests are in musculoskeletal and sports imaging and MRI, with particular interest in bone and soft tissue tumours. He maintains an active role in teaching, mentoring, environmental sustainability and regenerative practice, especially in respect to the provision of healthcare. He is also a member of the Regenerative Radiology group and actively engaged in reducing the organisation's carbon footprint. Clinton is a member of the Australasian Musculoskeletal Interest Group (AMSIG) and is an active fellow of the Royal Australian and NZ College of Radiologists.

Colette trained in radiology at the Middlesex Hospital in London (1985–1990). Following a period from 1990–2001 as a consultant radiologist at Guys and Lewisham NHS Trust Hospitals, she moved to New Zealand where she took up the position of consultant radiologist at Auckland City Hospital in 2002. Colette is the Lead Clinician for the Ultrasound Department at Auckland City Hospital. She joined Mercy Radiology in 2004 and is an integral member of our Interventional team. Colette also consults at Mercy Angiography.

David has worked in the Hawkes Bay, London, Auckland, Edmonton and Adelaide. He completed a Fellowship in Breast Imaging at the University of Alberta before returning to Auckland and becoming one of the founding radiologists at Mercy Radiology in 1984. His special interest is in breast imaging and he is one of New Zealand’s leading breast imaging radiologists. He is known for his kind, gentle nature and has an extensive loyal following amongst his patients and fellow physicians. David has recently stepped down as the Medical Director of Mercy Radiology, having given strong medical leadership and guidance to the practice over the last few years.

Devesh trained in radiology within the Auckland training scheme from 1999 to 2004, including a year of Body Imaging consisting of CT and MRI in his fifth year. After working as a consultant radiologist at Middlemore Hospital, he moved to New York in 2005 where he undertook Fellowships in Oncologic Imaging at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre. His fellowships consisted of Body Imaging (CT, MRI and Ultrasound), Mammography and Breast MRI, and Nuclear Medicine, including PET-CT. On returning to New Zealand, he was appointed Consultant Radiologist at Middlemore Hospital, a position he has held since mid-2007. Devesh is the Clinical Lead for the CT Department at Middlemore Hospital and joined Mercy Radiology in August 2010.

Ellen is a graduate of Otago Medical School. After working as a junior doctor in Gisborne and Wellington, Ellen trained in Radiology in Auckland from 2012-2016. Subsequently, Ellen completed a musculoskeletal fellowship in Perth, further training in musculoskeletal MRI, EOS and image guided musculoskeletal intervention. She worked for a further 3 years in Perth before returning home to Auckland in 2022.
Ellen also holds a consultant radiologist post in Waitemata DHB

Dr Pandya is one of the most experienced head and neck radiologists in New Zealand. He obtained specialist fellowship training in radiology in the UK. Following completion of radiology training in 2005, he worked as a consultant radiologist in one of the largest tertiary referral centres for head and neck cancer in the UK, based in Birmingham. In 2008, Dr Pandya decided to move to New Zealand with his family and worked at Waikato Hospital, before settling on the North Shore. Dr. Pandya has a strong interest in continual learning and currently serves as one of the sub-specialty Head and Neck reviewers for the British Journal of Radiology. He was also appointed as one of the specialist radiology advisors for NZ National Thyroid Cancer Tumour Standards Working Group in 2013. Working part time at North Shore Hospital, his professional interests include all aspects of head and neck imaging (MRI, CT, Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound), PET-CT/Nuclear Medicine and Cancer Imaging.

After finishing the undergraduate medical training at Otago & house office years in Auckland, Hana did her radiology training in Dunedin. She took a musculoskeletal fellowship in South Australia and completed a 2-year nuclear medicine training in Victoria.
She holds a consultant radiology post at Middlemore. She joined Mercy Radiology as a dual-qualified radiologist with a focus on general & oncology work.

Jane is a graduate of Auckland School of Medicine and completed her radiology training in Auckland. Following consultant appointments in Middlemore Hospital and with Queensland X-Ray in Australia, she returned to NZ where she has worked for Mercy Radiology and Auckland District Health Board since 2012. She has specialty interest in body imaging, in particular Oncological imaging, and in particular PET-CT. She is the lead radiologist for the Neuroendocrine Multidisciplinary Team and heads the CT Colonography service at Auckland DHB.

Jeremy graduated from the University of Auckland in 1989, and subsequently completed his training in radiology with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 1997. He then undertook a further two years of subspecialty fellowship training in mammography in the UK from 1997 to 1999, working in internationally recognised breast units at King’s College Hospital, London and the Nottingham Breast Institute, Nottingham.
Since returning to New Zealand in 1999, Jeremy has worked as a full-time radiologist specialising in breast imaging. Over this time he has gained experience in various breast imaging modalities including mammography, ultrasound and MRI. His particular interest is in breast biopsy techniques, including ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration, ultrasound guided core biopsy, stereotactic core biopsy and vacuum assisted biopsy.
He has held the position of Clinical Head of Breast Imaging at Auckland City Hospital since 2000, and currently works as a consultant radiologist at Greenlane Clinical Centre as well as Mercy Breast Clinic. He is also a member of the both the Auckland Breast Cancer Study Group and the ANZ Breast Cancer Trials Group.

Specialising in: Oncologic imaging, PET-CT, head and neck imaging.
A graduate of Auckland School of Medicine, Joo trained in diagnostic and interventional radiology in Auckland and Australia before heading to Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Florida, United States of America for further specialist training in PET-CT and MRI. During her time In the USA she also led the radiomics cancer imaging research group at Moffitt in close collaboration with researchers at Mayo Clinic and Columbia University. Joo has published journal articles and book chapters on head and neck cancer and glioblastoma, and has presented her research at international conferences. Joo’s areas of expertise are cancer imaging using PET-CT and MRI, head and neck imaging and image-guided minimally invasive biopsies. Joo is an oncologic radiologist at Mercy Radiology, the MercyAscot Neck Lump Clinics and at Middlemore Hospital, and continues research in brain tumours with the Centre for Brain Research at the University of Auckland.

Kesh is a graduate of the University of Witswatersrand and obtained her radiology degree in South Africa. Kesh has been a consultant since 2011. Kesh is a general radiologist with a subspecialty interest in breast and oncologic imaging. Kesh has been with Mercy Radiology since 2023.

Lee completed her initial degrees and gained her MBChB from the University of Auckland. Lee completed a number of surgical rotations in ORL / Head and Neck, Neurosurgery, General Surgery and Plastic Surgery before going on to complete radiology training, based in the Waikato. Lee now holds a position as a consultant radiologist with the Auckland District Health Board as well as being part of the Head and Neck team at Mercy Radiology.

Anne is a New Zealand trained Radiologist who completed her training in Auckland. At the end this, she spent a year at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge (UK), before returning to New Zealand where she commenced Consultant positions at North Shore Hospital and Hibiscus Radiology.
Anne was at Waitemata Health for 20 years, including a period as Clinical Director at North Shore Hospital. She was also a partner at Hibiscus Radiology from 1991, until April 2019, when Hibiscus Radiology was taken over by Mercy Radiology and she joined the Mercy Team.
She has many years of experience in interpreting and performing Ultrasound scans, having a special interest in Obstetric, plus Abdominal imaging. She is a competent Sonographer, still performing many scans herself. Anne is also a Reader for Breast Screen Aotearoa (Waitemata and North) having been with them.

Marcus is a New Zealand trained radiologist with fellowship experience in Australia and the USA. Marcus is the MSK Clinical Director at Mercy, and his areas of expertise are in Musculoskeletal Imaging and Oncology Imaging. He is committed to working with referrers to provide clinically relevant diagnostic information and problem-solve complex cases.

Margie is a graduate of Otago Medical School. She completed her radiology training in Auckland, with a breast fellowship in Perth Australia following completion of her training. Margie has worked in breast imaging since 1998. She has worked in private practice and with Breastscreen Aotearoa. She has recently returned to Auckland after several years in Christchurch at Canterbury Breast Care and commenced at Mercy Radiology in 2021.

Mark is a New Zealand-trained radiologist, who has been working as a consultant at North Shore Hospital since 2002. He completed an MRI Fellowship in Auckland in 2002 before further training in high resolution chest imaging in 2004 at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London, where he returned on sabbatical in 2009 within cardiothoracic imaging. Mark’s areas of expertise are thoracic and abdominal imaging, including cardiac CT and PET-CT. He also has a particular interest in oncology. Mark joined Mercy Radiology in August 2011.

Mark is a vascular and interventional radiologist, who also specialises in vascular and abdominal imaging across all modalities (US, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy & Angiography). He is a current member of IRSA, RSNA and ESGAR. Mark was previously Clinical Director of Mercy Radiology and is currently Senior Radiologist at Mercy. Mark is a past chairman of the New Zealand Branch of the College of Radiologists and was also a RANZCR councillor and a member of the council executive. He is highly regarded in the New Zealand radiology community

After finishing his specialist radiology training in New Zealand, Peter completed a Fellowship in Diagnostic Ultrasound and Mammography at UCLA Medical Centre (Los Angeles) in 1992. Peter joined Mercy Radiology later in 1992 and then joined Hibiscus Radiology in 2004. He returned to Mercy Radiology in 2013. He has been a consultant Radiologist, performing general radiology at North Shore Hospital since 1992. Peter has an ongoing special interest in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound and breast diagnosis. He reads mammograms for Breast Screen Waitemata & North and is one of the small team of Radiologists who perform additional assessment of women recalled following initial reading of their mammogram.

Puja has worked as a consultant radiologist in Auckland City Hospital (ACH) and Mercy Radiology since 1996. Puja undertook a visiting Fellowship in Oncology at Royal Marsden Hospital in London in 2003, and more recently one in PET-CT at Essen University in Germany. Her main interest is in oncology imaging, with a special interest in body MRI, especially rectal and prostate MRI. She is involved in the training of medical students and radiology registrars at ACH, including film-based teaching and lectures. Puja is the Clinical Lead of Mercy PET-CT and Oncologic Imaging at Mercy Radiology.

Rahul undertook medical and radiology training at the University of Nottingham, UK after which he completed fellowships in Interventional radiology and Abdominal Imaging at McGill University in Montreal between 2012-2014.Following this Rahul moved to Auckland in 2014 to take up position of Consultant Interventional Radiologist for the Waitemata District Health Board. Rahul joined Mercy Radiology in August 2015.

Jay trained in radiology at University Hospital Southampton. Between 2005 and 2014 he was a consultant radiologist at West Sussex NHS Trust where he was Lead for Musculoskeletal Radiology. Jay is now a consultant radiologist at Auckland City Hospital where he is Lead for Emergency Radiology. He is a very experienced Musculoskeletal Radiologist and has published and presented internationally in this area. Jay is also fellowship trained in nuclear medicine and performs this both at Auckland City Hospital and Mercy Radiology.

Sook Yee is a graduate of Otago University’s School of Medicine and completed her radiology training in Wellington, New Zealand. In 2021 she completed a one-year fellowship in Breast Imaging with Breast Screen Aotearoa at Hutt Hospital; and in 2022 completed a second fellowship in MSK Radiology in Tasmania, Australia.
Sook Yee joined Mercy Radiology in March 2023 following her return to New Zealand.

Specialising in Interventional Neuroradiology
Stefan attended Auckland Medical School then headed to Sydney in 1990 where he trained in Radiology then Interventional Radiology at Prince Alfred Hospital. He moved to London to train in Interventional Neuroradiology at Queen Square and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in 2000. After further periods of training at Alfried Krupp Krankenhaus, Essen, Germany and BicĂȘtre Hospital, Paris, France, he returned to London and was appointed lead Interventional Neuroradiologist across both these sites in 2003. In addition to his clinical duties, he continued to be active in research, teaching, interventional device development and device proctoring across Europe over the next decade. He returned in 2013 to take up a position at Auckland City Hospital as a diagnostic and interventional neuroradiologist. He was appointed National Clinical Co-Director for Stroke/Clot Retrieval in 2021. He joined Mercy Radiology and Mercy Angiography in 2021.

Specialising in breast and women’s imaging, body imaging
She completed her postgraduate training at WITS university in Johannesburg, South Africa and moved to NZ in 2009,initially working in Christchurch and then joined Mercy Radiology in 2011. She has a particular interest in breast imaging, gaining further experience in recent breast imaging techniques following a visiting fellowship at University of Virginia, Charlottesville,USA. She also holds a consultant radiologist position at Middlemore Hospital since 2012.
Trevor Chan is a graduate of the University of Auckland and he trained in radiology in Auckland. He has been a consultant radiologist at Waitemata DHB since 1999. Trevor is a general radiologist with a subspecialty interest in breast imaging and non-vascular intervention. He has been an assessing radiologist at BreastScreen Waitemata Northland since 2006. Trevor has worked at Mercy Radiology since 2013.

Rohana graduated from the Auckland School of Medicine and completed her training in Radiology in the Auckland region. Following this she completed a fellowship in Diagnostic Neuroradiology and Head and Neck imaging at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in Australia where she gained particular experience in neuro-oncology, epilepsy and head and neck cancer imaging.
