Should you be referred for this examination, when you book you will be briefed on any necessary preparation by our staff. The scan itself takes around 20-40 minutes, however you need to allow 2-3 hours for the entire appointment. Scan results are examined by two specialist radiologists and then sent to your referring doctor as soon as possible.
